Available for download off the Xbox Live Marketplace to North American Live members is a sorta new The Club demo that was previously released to Europe and Australia a few weeks back. This 1.36GB demo download has been under a lot of heat lately, with gamers sounding off that they are either in love with it or despise its very existence. But that's exactly why demos are released, they're for you to garner your own opinion. Makes sense. Go get downloading and garnering fellow North American fanboys, you're now a part of The Club ... even though you have yet to send in your club registration fee. Get it in by next week though.North America is now a part of The Club (demo)

Yeah, when this released in the UK I had to set up my UK account. It's alright... I wouldn't say it's "freakin' awesome", but it's worth a look.
Turok is better than I expected.

I liked the demo. It really feels like an old Sega arcade release.

I don't like that it looks like an arcade. I thought that there would of been more of a story. At least thats what I thought when I first saw the teaser.

Although it's 'available' in Europe and Australia, except for Germany for censorship reasons it seems, I still can't download it due to 'region' problems. I'm in Poland and I have an UK account but still can't download the demo and AceyBongos [UK Community Manager or sth] just ignores the fact that it's not available.

Don't waste my f-in time.Next you write a title about a demo please write Attention Gold Members The Club is downloadable.Us Silver people are saving our money because this year there's like a million freakin good games. Some of us have friends nearby so we can play the game together rather then pay $50 a year.Microsoft needs to change the $50 per year.We should get 365 days of Xbox Live for $50 and we don't pay for another gold membership until we have played on Xbox Live for 365 days. Some of us go to school and have jobs and bills to pay and have women we want to be with so we don't know how much time we have available to play video games on Xbox Live.

It's not really that bad. $50 a year, compared to what WoW users pay ($15 a month) isn't too bad. Just hope they never switch to that pricing schedule!
I manage to hold down a job and a relationship while still being able to play and afford that $50 per year. I know, it's a CRAZY juggling act, but I cope with it. :P
If you really want to play this particular demo, open a silver account in the UK and you'll be able to play it right now.

If you have all of those things to do, I can't imagine you'll mind waiting a week to play a demo on Silver either lol.
This is going to become the norm, so it's probably better just to assume if you have silver you have to wait. Pointing it out every time wouldn't have that much use.

Stop bitching and moaning, do us all a favor and get rid of your 360 then.
Your kind is not wanted on Live anyway.

Sony is free, why not Live. They make money of their in game or live ads anyways. Make Live free for everyone.

True PSN is free but PSN doesn't have a video market place that offers up a plethora of HD video content ranging from TV shows to Movies. It is also missing a bunch of community features that the 360 had day one. While it is nice not having to pay for the PSN when I'm using it I can say without a doubt in my mind that the 50 dollars I spend a year on XBL is well spent. Just because it is free doesn't make it better.

save 5 for the next 10 months and BAM!, a 13 month xbox live gold card. Microsoft can't sustain their matchmaking and marketplace service just on ads, they need "real" money.
Also, any1 notice xbl marketplace is being weird?

Awesome. Have you guys got to download/play the Turok demo yet? No?
I got it in the mail from OXM. :D
I'm also working on getting it onto a DVD(need DVDs) to make sure it works, before uploading to the torrent networks as an ISO. With any luck that will happen before it shows up on the marketplace. :D
