and now, the uphill battle against people who know the maps, have better perks, and better weapons.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, I got a lot of joy in the early levels getting a kill on somebody leveled much higher than me. I knew that level 35 person was watching the kill cam, seeing my sightless weapon take them down and it made being low level fun for the short time you have to spend there.

haha i hate when i get killed by a sightless gun, it means i got pwned.
anyways it's only 25 kills to get your laser sight, that's pretty much all you need. acog is nice for larger maps.

Call me what you want, but I still don't see it as a worthy purchase. I am not into multiplayer at all, there's something about playing with a bunch of 9 year olds screaming racial slurs in my ears that just doesn't appeal to me. That said, I'm sure this will be the greatest 6 hours of a life as I go through the singleplayer but that's just it... it's 6 hours. I got the same amount of entertainment value from The Bourne Supremancy I bought a few days ago, lasted me just about 6 hours after the movie, plus extras and commentary.

i will call you an idiot sir. for $40 it's been a blast as I played through the campaign and played through the arcade modes, it never gets old it seems. online is awesome with a group of your friends.
i've never gotten into call of duty games before, but the combat is easily much better than Halo 3.
