We saw this Guitar Hero III DLC coming a mile away and today it's available for everyone to purchase and enjoy. For 500 Microsoft points apiece you can grab either the GHIII Velvet Revolver Pack or the Foo Fighter Pack. Each track pack includes three songs performed by the original artist (would we have it any other way?) with "She Builds Quick Machines", "Slither" and "Messages" in the Velvet Revolver Pack and "The Pretender", "All My Life" and "This is a Call" in the Foo Fighter Pack. The DLC is still as expensive as ever breaking down to a little over $2 a song, but we knew it was coming. Enjoy, rock out and spend frivolously!

I'll be more willing to pay $5 a 3 pack for rock band than for Guitar Hero. I successfully abstained from purchasing GHII DLC.
However, as Bob said, "Foo Fighters FTW"!!!... gonna have to get this 3 pack.

Didn't like the price before, and I don't like it now. Probably won't buy these although I do already have 400 unused point just sitting on my account. The Slither track is very tempting.

You know, how do you think people are gonna feel seeing and hearing these songs in the GH3 commercials. Then shell out over a hundred dollars to get the game and find out that they arn't in the game and that additional money is needed to be spent to play the damn song you may or may not have bought the game for? Someone should sue actavision for this. Even something as simple as a childs toy commercial likesay, I dont know, Transformers will let you know, when they are marketing a specific toy, it is shown with others and at the end of the commercials says....Other figures sold separatly.
So how about it Actavision, how about a disclaimer at the end of your commercials saying, this song sold separatly? Assholes.

SO EXCITED about them releasing the devil went down to georgia full song. i was heavily disappointed when i realized i couldn't play the song outside of battle mode.
also really glad that they're not planning on charging us anything for those, as they rightfully shouldn't.
