With all the news surrounding Halo 3, Orange Box and other gaming gems this past month, Call of Duty 4 hasn't been featured in the limelight all that much. But we're changing that this afternoon and bringing you a complete list of every weapon featured in the game's single and multiplayer. Where did this list-o-weapons come from you wonder? The guys over at COD4Forums discovered the weapons in the dev code from the PC beta (which is available for download right now), of course! So start dreaming of all the destruction, death and military mayhem you'll be able to create with the list of CoD4 weapons posted after the break. i dont think its the beta. i think its the actual single player campaign demo. You can get Demo only at Yahoo Games of all places.

After playing Gears, games with this many weapons really proved to me how little of a purpose they serve. Gears has 2 machine guns, 2 pistols, 2 types of grenades, 2 explosives launchers, a sniper rifle, a shotgun, and an orbital death ray.
That's 11 weapons. Each serves a distict purpose.

Goes to show why Gears is such a boring game after an hour of playing. No vehicles, only 4v4 max, only variations of team slayer, 11 weapons, and a glitch-fest.
