While playing online against Bungie's own Ske7ch, tipster Flash2000 noticed something a bit odd about his helmet ... it was on fire! Yup, head on fire just like Ghost Rider. And after doing a bit of Googling we found out that the flaming helmet armor permutation is available exclusively to employees of Bungie. So, no matter how much Gamerscore you achieve, how many skulls you find or how much you cry about it, you can't get a flaming helmet. Those lucky little devils.
[Thanks, Flash2000]

I'm probably in the minority, but I think all of the Hayabusa armor stuff is dumb. It takes me out of the experience and the world that they've painstakingly created. Equally ridiculous would be a helmet that looks like Batman or Spiderman or *insert comic book character*, but I fear that we're going to see that sort of nonsense in downloadable content. Heck, Burger King was an early sponsor, why not a Burger King, "King" helmet...? In my opinion it hurts the lore of the game world. If they want hard to get pieces, design something new and cool that fits, don't just add katanas and similar nonsense.

Ah well! I suppose they can use the sword aswell and all have shiny gold shoes to boot.
Looks cool though, I wouldn't say No.

The lore of the game? Seriously dude? It's friggin multiplayer!
Sure if they had that stuff in the campaign it would be ridiculous but I like the customization in matchmaking. Somehow I can't see them bringing in a batman or burger king dude helmet but the more cool permutations they do bring in via dlc the better!

the reason there is a hayabusa helmet is to "repay" Team Ninja for putting a spartan into DOA4

Just enjoy the fact that the guys at Bungie know how to appreciate their friends in the gaming world. I think that their homage to DOA4 is cool. Just as I thought the Spartan was a cool crossover addition to DOA4.

Because a bunch of multicolored Spartans running around and shooting each other makes total sense in Halo lore?

The flaming helmet exclusivity for the developers is pretty cool I think. Then you would know that you are actually playing with one of them when you see it.. Until the cheaters start to pop up...

It's a cool way to know you are playing against a Bungie employee! As for the Hayabusa armor. It's been one week and it's already played out to me. I see so many people wearing it already that it no longer is 'cool' to me.
I do enjoy seeing that just because a person has the armor doesn't mean they are good at multiplayer. I find that to be the case almost 95% of the time.

Not a fan of the Hayabusa armor. Not about to jump through hoops to try to get it either. :-)

Actually your incorrect X3F! It's a settable player trait in custom game options! Sorry to burst your bubble there :)
Maybe you should report the "Bungie Employees Only" Rogue armour that everyone's talking about instead?

@1 I wouldn't mind getting a Burger King helmet. That would be hilarious when pwning people on multiplayer.
But yeah, it's multiplayer. If you can add the armour on Campaign, that's another story...

I played Frankie the other day and noticed the flaming helmet but since he was in the lead I just thought it was a part of the game type we were playing. Those Bungie guys get all the fun toys.

I just had a mental image of getting killed with the shotgun, then getting teabagged by the Burger King.
I would laugh out loud of that happened.
