GRAW 2 Throwback Pack is teh free!

Even though we haven't seen any official announcement or fancy press release hit our inbox, we're proud to announce that the GRAW 2 Throwback Pack is now available for free off the XBLM. The Throwback Pack was released back in May for 800 Microsoft points and includes seven multiplayer maps that are remakes from previous Ghost Recon games and expansions. So, we advise finding your GRAW 2 disc, downloading the newly free maps and getting back into some online multiplayer. We're sure dedicated GRAW 2 players will welcome your presence in the Throwback maps.

[Thanks, ccc]

That reminds me, how long ago did 'Chapter 2' for the first GRAW become free? I doubt anyone even plays that online anymore though...

Excellent!

I was just recently getting back into GRAW 2. This is perfect.

Now only if the community wasn't full off assholes who boot levels 5 and lower...

I won't be buying anymore add-ons for my Ubisoft games that also come out on PS3.

They charge us for the maps first then release it on the PS3 version for the default retail price and then make it free after us fans already spent our 10 bucks. It happened for Rainbow now GRAW2.

I rarely played these maps...for now on I will wait for the PS3 version to drop.

KingOfGods - and play against WHO? 2 other people?

I'm personally waiting for those GoW map packs to become free before I pop that game into my drive again...but then again...Halo 3...and I have so many games I have to achievement whore before then, and so many demos to play...that I probably won't even bother...

GRAW Chapter 2 came 'free' on an OXM disk, that's probably what he's thinking about.

"KingOfGods - and play against WHO? 2 other people?"

@DJDatz

I don't want to pick up the PS3 version...I meant to say download the add-ons after the PS3 version drops because the packs usually become free then and I'm tired of paying $10 for these packs.

As much as I enjoy my PS3 I can't play shooters with that shitty Sixaxis.

I hope they refund people for this like they did with the Rainbow Six additions! I just bought this a month or two back! I'm getting really tired of them doing this.
