Beautiful Katamari demo available in Sept OXM

If you're dying to get to roll a Katamari on your Xbox 360, you just might have to plop down a few bucks and pick up the September issue of OXM. We just learned that a Beautiful Katamari demo is included on the demo disc in the latest issue of OXM, but we aren't totally sure what it entails. We also aren't sure why the Beautiful Katamari demo hasn't been caringly placed on the XBLM for everyone to enjoy, but we're thinking the King of All Cosmos has something to do with it. Neverless, we can guarantee that Beautiful Katamari is playable in OXM, so use such information as you deem fit.

I played it in oxm and they gave you like 3 minutes to fool around it was just not my kind of game.

anyone who has not experienced the surreality that is Katamari is either going to love or hate this game. It's pretty polarizing. Either the quirky graphics and absurd premise will amaze you, or just scare you off.

I love Katamari though.

Idiots. This is a game that needed to be on XBLM. People aren't going to get it if they can't try it for themselves, all they're doing is ensuring the majority of XBOX owners won't try the demo.
Assuming it stays an OXM exclusive, of course... Maybe they'll do the right thing!

Holy crap, some people ^ are just doom and gloom. People bought Katamari because it was a budget title at 30 bucks, and I think they'll buy the new one for the same reason (which is good, because after playing the original, I would have payed 100 bucks for it instead of 30). I'm sure the Demo will eventually make it to Live, but I think it's the duty of anyone that hasn't played a Katamari to buy this game when it comes out, if not for the game, then to support Namco in it's quest to continually bring Japan-centric games to the US (against the wisdom of most companies)

There is/was a demo on XBLM. I've got it on my console's hard drive. It's a blast. I can't wait for it to come out next month.
