i'm sure our copies of halo 3 will hold us over until ut3 comes out for 360.

This isn't the UT3 news 360 fans should be concerned about. The PS3 version of the game will support mods and maps created for the PC version of the game.

As a diehard UT fan and an owner of a 360, this hurts. I'll either have to upgrade my PC or get a PS3 now, unless MS changes their policy on user-generated content being added to games from foreign hardware.

As of now, MS would not allow this, as stated in a recent episode of Bonus Round on GameTrailers.

Mods are great and all, but what I'm worried about is keyboard and mouse support. The 360 better support this...

With all the games coming out for 360 this holiday, I'm kinda glad that it will be coming a little later. I'll be able to give it the attention it deserves.

I'll bet anything Epic did the timed exclusive with Sony so they don't have to compete with Halo 3 on the 360... same as Haze...

Honestly, I find it hard to believe the PS3 version is going to let you go find whatever mods you want and install them at your leisure. If it's made through PSN, it'll probably be hand selected stuff... sort of a "best of".

I'm not sure why MS wouldn't allow that, but it's not like I know why they do anything they do.

So, timed for two months? The same two months we'll be playing Bioshock, halo3, mass effect, GTA4 and Assassins Creed? Oh, wow... I feel soo pwned by Sony. On another note, I say give us mods dammit.

Please... I suspect that Epic is happy to not have to compete with all the games that are coming out for the 360 this holiday season. This is a win/win for them. They get some concessions from Sony and sell lots of copies to PS3 fanboys who need games. They then sell the game to the 360 folks in 08 who are now done with all the games they bought during the 07 holiday season. I mean they are not dumb. This game is a direct competitor for the same gamer that plays Halo. No doubt, they will add some new content to the 360 version to entice us to buy it.
We’re all going to be broke this Christmas! Be thankful we have a couple of months to refill the wallet.

I'm nonplussed that UT3 is coming to us a little bit later; it'll give me more time with Mass Effect and Halo 3 for sure. I also predict that the delay might allow for some additional content added into our 360 versions that PS3 gamers won't see. It'd make sense to me.

I completly forgot this game was even comming out with all the other games. This game is a definate buy for me as well, I hope it has KB and mouse support. Waiting till next year is fine with me.
