It's time to dust of your copy of
MLB 2K7, because there is free content to download. Make your way to the XBLM and download the Olympic Stadium for free as it's the first of presumably more in the
MLB 2K7 stadium Classic Collection. And our European friends will be happy to know that the free stadium download is only available to US and Canadian Xbox Live members. But it's not like you've ever been shafted before. Honestly, we just worry that the 2K Sports labor strikes didn't make this in-game stadium structurally unsound or prevent it from having a retractable roof. That would just be bad.

Other stadiums include Forbes Field and Polo Grounds, as I reported a few days ago :p

Wow, my mom's boss had VIP passes to go see games at the Olympic Stadium all the time, that's quite a nice suprise for people in the Montreal Area...
Even if the Expos always sucked.

there's also an auto-update that adds a new fielding camera "pole cam" that was dropped out of the game's release at the last minute.

1994, dude. They were in first place when MLB canceled the rest of the season b/c of the strike.
Also, they were in the wild card race in their second-to-last year in Montreal. And then MLB (which owned the team by that point) wouldn't let them expand their roster to 40 players in September, like every other team got to do. They probably wouldn't have made the postseason, but still...

Free content is always good.
Maybe this new fielding camera will get me to pet down MLB The Show for PSP and start playing MLB07 again.
It would be cool if they made the new stadiums being built. (METS, YANKEES)

Yeah they released some back in the day but the last years or so I had to ordere all my MVP Baseballs in the US for the Gamecube (wich could be played because of the Freeloader disc). Now MLB2K7 never released a PAL version of the game (what we (I live in Amsterdam) need to play on European 360's) but only NTSC. So European baseball fans are f*cked unless they have an import console.
I still think the last MVP baseball game is still one of the best Baseball games to date...too bad 2k had to buy the MLB license.
