The fellas over at GamingTalkHQ are giving away a whole bundle of
Transformers interchangeable faceplates for your 360 and so we thought we'd pass along the word. The faceplates include twelve interchangeable designs per pack (hence the transform reference) and come in two flavors; Autobots and Decepticons. To win, head on over to their site and comment on the post by Friday, when they'll choose four winners who'll win both
Transformer faceplate packs. Long live the Decepticons!

This is kinda cool but I've got to ask, why do 3rd party designers keep insisting on designing faceplates with vertical graphics. They have to know by now that the console is meant to be placed horizontally, right?

It behooves me to say: Awesome.
Also, how come the CoreGamer site has nothing but a thumbnail image of these? Wouldn't they want to show off the hottness?
@1 (baby sea tuna):
I couldn't agree with you more. It looks like with these, though, they actually have two faceplates for each character: A vertical one showing the character in robot mode, and a horizontal one showing them in vehicle mode.

I highly recommend this. I bought the blank version and have had lots of fun designing my own faceplates.

I bought one of those that let's you design your own faceplates. Then I tried using the remote to watch an movie. No good. The infrared pass through on it was awful. Then I also noticed that it's not "licensed by Microsoft" as many others are. I would guess MS tests the certified ones...

@1&3: Anecdotal evidence suggests that your 360 will last longer if you use it vertically. The theory is that it cools it better.
Also, all of Microsoft's publicity material shows the 360 in the upright position, so I'm not sure what you mean.
