The third downloadable map pack for
Lost Planet cooked its way onto the Marketplace this morning and is awaiting your consumption. Map Pack #3 will cost you 400 Microsoft points and includes three new multiplayer maps including Ice Drop, Ruins, and the 8-bit inspired Lost Technology. Be sure to take a look at the
preview videos we posted last week as well as a few screenshots from the new maps featured in the
gallery below. So fellow
Lost Planet fans, will you be buying this new map pack-o-fun or have you moved onto other online multiplayer games?

I really enjoy lost planet multiplayer, but these day all the kids seem to be off playing their gear of wars and whatnot, back in my day, we didn't have roadie run. But whatever, I sadly won't be getting this due to lack of participants.

I love Lost Planet and personally find multiplayer more fun than GoW, but sadly, I'm in the minority and won't waste my money on this. If they were free I think it would ignite some more people to re-visit the game.

Gow owns everything.
I didnt like this game because I already had gears when I tried this out. Also, this game has got nothing on EDF!

This game looks good but I've been waiting for a price drop to pick it up. I've yet to have anyone adequately explain the multiplayer to me, although it sounds like it would be significantly more complex then GoW (which sounds like fun).

LP is a great game and these maps look awesome and well-worth the price, but unfortunately the more shooters they put out, the more it keeps thinning the enthusiasm out for each one.

@ 5 - I feel you there. As a fan of this and Call of Duty 3 the herd has been so trimmed getting into good ranked matches quickly is a thing of the past.
And a note to dev's out there. You may think your MP is the best experience out there, but be realistic when you set achievements for 10000 games played and 5000000 points/kills.
All that said I'll still pick this up for $5, the pricing seems good enough and I'll at least get that much out of it.

The three BEST GAMES that I love the most are Lost Planet, Crackdown, and Gears of War.
