idk sounds a bit fishy but if its true that woul be awsome.Im looking foward to the rare games like kameo 2 and banjo and difinitly dead rising 2 i loved 1. MGS would be good news because it would bring more ppl over to 360 land but i dont really like the game.But you just got to wonder if this is true wht does bungie have up thier sleaves this time.

Sounds all very possible and highly probable..just NOT for this year. Gears of War 2 trailer..so soon? And during the hype of Halo 3? I don't buy that for a second. it'd take away some steam from Bungie, for one thing.

I could see a strictly CG trailer Toph, no actual gameplay, maybe just some movie footage of events to happen in the next game. They've already got the engine and everything, not that unrealistic.

Things I question:
"- Bungie working on new title/series not related to anything in the Halo/Marathon Universe."
That's not really how Bungie works. They finish one project and start the next one. Maybe they are growing and can start doing mulitple projects at once. They have been releasing Halo 2 maps while working on Halo 3.
"- Apparently there's news of a MGS Game for the 360." May or may not be the 4th Installment.
I have a feeling Sony has dished out some handfuls of cash to get MGS4 as an exclusive behind closed doors. That doesn't stop a new project going to the 360, though.

Things I think are spot on:
- New Crimson Skies game to be announced.
- Epic Games to show some gorm of Gears of War 2 Trailer.
- Microsoft have bought the Star Wars Battlefront 3 rights. Trailer/Demo to be shown.
- Rare to show off Banjo Kazooie 3 (Banjo-Theerie).
- Rare to announce 2 new games.
- Rare to announce Kameo 2.
- Lionhead Studios show more of Fable 2.
- Team Ninja to show off Ninja Gaiden 2. Labeled 360 Exclusive.
- Dead Rising 2 to be shown. May not be ready.

Things that are WT*:
- Microsoft to fund a new game based on Jason Bourne. It'll be based on the books and not the film with Matt Damon.
Seriously, that has WT* written all over it.

This was posted on NeoGAF two nights ago and was instantly refuted by Arne of the Microsoft Community Team as well as Frankie from Bungie Studios.

Frankie's exact quote: "Knowing for a fact how much of that is utter bullshit, plus seeing the obvious educated guesses rolled in, I am going to go ahead and say that the original post is complete garbage."

Obviously some of these things might show up, but there is absolutely no truth to this. The fact that you report every stupid rumor some kid on a messageboard makes up is beyond me. Learn to do your job correctly.

While I wish this were true, I call this BS for several logic reasons.

Reason #1. No announcement of Halo 3 single player campaign. Are you kidding me? The whole point of trade shows is to continue building hype of new game releases. Granted, Halo 3 doesn't really need any additional hype, but MS would be silly not to announce something about their single player campaign.

Reason #2. GoW2 announcement. I doubt MS would want to steal any press away from Halo 3 by announcing Gow 2. Besides, Epic would instead show footage of Unreal Tourney instead since they need to hype that.

Reason #3. MS buying "rights to" Starwars Battlefront. LucasArts has its own publishing arm. There's no reason they would sell the Battlefront "rights" to MS. It would make more sense if it were an exclusive, but the wording of MS buying "rights" is utter BS.

Reason #4. Ninja Gaiden 2 from Team Ninja. I doubt Takagaki would want to alienate the Sony folks by making any Ninja Gaiden 2 announcement in the wake of the Ninja Gaiden release for the PS3.

Reason #5. MGS on 360. Puh-lease....Unlike Namco and Capcom, Konami has been steadfast in the support of the PS3. They've never changed their stance. I don't see it happening anytime soon.

There are more (Rare making so many games), but those are the main points that jump out to me. I hope on wrong, but I doubt it.

Also, there are too many items missing from the annnoucement. Where's the US Blue Dragon release? What about Trusty Bell? Ace Combat 6? All the great XBL releases like Bomberman?

Like I said....BS.
