Shadowrun beta invites sent out

It's time for Shadowrun fans to get pumped up, because a new batch of beta invites have been sent out! Yesterday, Microsoft notified lucky Xbox Live members that they were in the beta by sending out invite codes via email. So, if you haven't received one yet then Microsoft didn't think you were cool enough. For those of you lucky enough to get in the Shadowrun beta all you have to do is download the 888MBs and start playing. And a big thank you goes out to all the fanboys who flooded our inbox with this tip. It's awesome to see such eloquent use of the tips form and excitement for the beta ... you guys rock! Quit reading already, check your email, and get online to play some Shadowrun!

[Thanks, to everyone who sent this in]

9. Just so XB360FB knows it is not just an 888 meg file. Once you launch that you have to DL an update that says it is 87kb but is actually 1.2 gigs!!!

It takes about 30 minutes to an hour to get it set up but it is worth it. Fun game. When you launch the game from the Demos and More section you will have a compeletly black screen for what will seem like forever. Be patient and the game will eventually start.

14. Funny, I don't think this is that great of a game (I am a beta tester) it's just a shooter with some RPG elements thrown in....nothing spectacular in my opinion. The graphic are ok, not great. I don't see myself buying it....

15. Well I recieved the invite yesterday and played about 3 hours worth so far, it's really good and fun as H3LL to play. You should do all of the training to get familar your the certain powers. I'm buying it day one!!

For the people that are in the beta, don't forget that theirs still a NDA (unless it has been lifted...).
