RoboBlitz T-shirt contest: Day 4 [update 1]

And the mighty RoboBlitz T-shirt contest keeps moving across the land, distributing T-shirts to those in need. Before we announce today's contest, we must pick a name from the proverbial hat. The winner of yesterday's RoboBlitz shirt is (fanfare) Beef! Beef's dream robot is named Ephraim, which is apparently Beef's real name as well. It seems that Ephraim's primary function is to be a clone of Ephraim. Some of you came up with other really good ideas, too. Read 'em all right here.

Now, what to do for today's contest ... we should really start coming up with these beforehand. Let's see ... okay, we have an idea. RoboBlitz has some really interesting weapons (don't believe us? Watch this). To enter today's contest, leave a comment describing an interesting, fictional weapon. You know, something that would be fun in a video game. The winner -- randomly chosen -- will receive a women's XL RoboBlitz T-shirt. We'll get the creative juices flowing by coming up with a weapon first. We would create the Poodle Launcher, which would launch specially trained ballistic poodles (properly shaven for aerodynamics, of course). So there you go, get crackin' and good luck.

Update: This contest is now closed. Click here to see the winner and enter the latest contest.

General contest stuff: Only one entry per person. Winners will be contacted via email in order to obtain shipping information. This contest is open to residents of the United States only.

1. I'm in favor of the "rubber/glue" gun. When you tag an enemy with it, all ammo fired at you is redirected at him.

2. The character would pull out a 'video game looking' controller, and then target an enemy with a crosshair to lock-on to them. Once you're locked, you can tilt the controller around (using the thumbstick, of course) to control the unfortunate stooge.

3. WEAPON: The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword

1st level: Pencil w/ Eraser
2nd level: Ink
3rd level: Paintbrush

At level 1, you can erase bad guys (with depleting eraser 'ammo') alternate fire allows you to create dummy clone cariactures/sketches of your character to draw fire.

Level 2, ink creates a 'fog of war' effect around your character. Alternate fire, is white out, which eliminates any enemies within it's area of effect.

Level 3, paintbrush, changes enemy loyalties.. red team plays for the blue team and vice versa. Alternate fire, you can trap enemies within any circles you paint on the ground.

4. my gun would be called the pea shooter... it shoots peas.

5. In the spirit of this contest, how about a t-shirt rifle? Not deadly you think? Ask Maude Flanders!

6. It would launch invisible scorpians that fly. You can't stop something you cant see baby.

7. Pea shooter grenade launcher with special controller that you have to blow through to launch.

8. I'd like to see a cat gun, wielded only by the special class "Crazy Cat Lady". With the aid of modern physics, cats are crammed into a magazine. Upon reaching the target, the cats expand to their normal size, claws embedded into the poor unfortunate victim, and their ear drums are shredded apart by the howling of dozens of cats.

9. assploder.

10. The Mormon Gun fires pairs of kids with short sleeve shirts, black ties, and bike helmets. They would follow the enemy around and offer some literature for him to look at.
