It wasn't long ago that Bungie sat down with gaming magazines around the world to share the first real information about Halo 3. And it looks like Swedish magazine, Level, has the dubious honor of being scanned first. To be fair, these aren't exactly scans, but we'll take what we can get. The magazine reveals new details about weapons, vehicles and multiplayer.
Weapons
Spiker - a new Brute weapon
Spartan laser - a laser that tears vehicles apart
Nail Grenade - sticks into walls and sends nails everywhere
Vehicles
The Mongoose is in! This is the ATV that was cut from Halo 2. It seats two and has no weapons. Designed from recon and quick travel.
Multiplayer goodies
The "Man Cannon" - Spartans do their best Human Bullet impersonations for some extremely rapid transport. Players can still shoot in the air, and can be shot down.
Controls
The X button has a new, still secret feature. Reloading has now been allocated to the bumper buttons. Right bumper reloads the right weapon, and the left bumper reloads the left. Genius.
Miscellaneous
You can now see your secondary weapon when it's not in use. In other words, it's actually slung over your shoulder instead of magically appearing out of thin air. Also, a 4 DVD "Legendary" edition is planned that will have material from Red Vs. Blue, documentaries, and a collection of all cut scenes from the game (possibly the whole series?).
Please take this info with a grain of salt, as it has all been translated from a Swedish mag that we've never heard of. If anyone has picked this magazine up, let us know. You should be able to confirm all this info when the infamous EGM story finally shows up. So, who's excited? Raise your hand.

renatox, you seem to be slightly confused. EVERYONE cares about halo. I know they're similar words, but try to get used to it. Halo 3 was why I bought a 360. And get Pro Evo. Fifa sucks.

I'm tempted to stamp this whole article as false simple because of the "Man Cannon". that seems lame and gimmicky and i dont see bungie doing it.
And Silver, if you sit down and play resistance... how much crap do you think you'll find inspired by halo? +there was a spike grenade in one of the Quake games... 2 i think.. google it.

The article isn't false, Clay. Level was at the same Halo 3 session as EGM, etc. They just published their Halo 3 story faster.
When EGM comes out over the next couple weeks you'll be reading the same exact stuff.

unless bungie decides to host their own multiplayer servers, standbying will continue to be a problem. the reacharound posse said it best with their song, "White Button Thugs" that was posted on this site a month or two ago. I don't think that modders will be a problem until 360 modchips become prevalent. The human cannon doesn't sound right, but then again, neither did the sword.

That *was* mistranslated. It was actually saying that there will unfortunately be no bots in multiplayer. I guess the word "bot" means clubfoot in French.
