Ben Heckendorn's super-sweet re-built Xbox 360 laptop caused such a sensation in the nerdosphere that it apparently crashed his website, with many crowning his achievement the best 360 mod of all time. But you can't please everybody. Like this bitter forum poster:

Its just jealously, memory cards arn't needed if its got a HDD and the vision camera isn't even released yet.

I actually sent the guy an email asking how much he wanted to build one for someone else and he gave me a number of $3400. Just a little bit steep to me. I was thinking more along the lines of $1500.
