Live well for less: Do it at WalletPop

Call of Duty 2 demo on XBLM now!

Call of Duty 2 demo is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace for your demo download pleasure! We were sort of hoping for another war-themed demo to show its pretty little face...

Sure, it's a little late to the party, but seeing as how it's one of the top 360 games available, they've had little need to promote it earlier. With Ghost Recon: Advanced Warrior coming soon, gamers are hungry for an online experience that isn't buggy as heck. A note to Infinity Ward: less demo making, more multiplayer patching guys.

You'd think, seeing that this was on all the kiosks long ago, that this would have been out long ago as well. Better late than never I guess?

LOL, man where the heck is that so called promised MP patch. They're holding it off and hope that everyone will forget about it once GRAW and BF2MC comes out. Screw that. Good thing I didn't buy that piece of crap for $60.

Amen to that! This game would've been balls out if the multiplayer would've been even half as functional as PDZ or Halo 2. Really too bad. The few times I've gotten CoD2MP to work was really alot of fun.

With GRAW and BF2MC dropping soon though anything CoD2 does to fix any issues would be a day late and a dollar short.

Better luck next time....although I'm pretty much done with WWII shooters.

CoD2, despite it's completely crappy network code, is actually an awesome MP game; that is if you can put up with it. IW won't fix MP, but instead will offer full MP features in thier expansion, which of course you will have to pay for.

IW: Thx suckers!...LOL

To all the bitchers and moaners:

http://forums.xbox.com/2598446/ShowPost.aspx

Dear Call of Duty Community:

As you recall, we announced plans that we were working on our second Title Update for Call of Duty 2, improving the Xbox Live multiplayer functionality. Were happy to report that this update is currently in the final stages of testing and all is going well. In fact, we will be releasing it soon, so stay tuned. To give you a better understanding of what we have been working on, the second COD2 Title Update will have the following enhancements:

1. Player Lag has been addressed

Plus, we have added the following functionality:

2. Private Game Lobbies / Reserved Slots

3. Enabled the Live Host to set custom game options

4. Map Preferences setting

5. Post Game Lobbies (all players at end of match will return to their game lobby)

6. Enemy Player Name Notification

7. Ability for the Host to kick a player

8. In game Lobby - Game Type, Map and Host Notifications

Again, thank you for your supportand stay tuned for future updates!
